Chilton stone chimney was in good shape
except for the mortar and the cap. We repaired
the cap and tuck pointed the chimney down
to the roofline. We then added some new
back flashing to complete the project. |

random steppers in mortar

| This
was a new construction concrete sidewalk, steps
and patio in St. Paul. Dayco was a sub-contractor
for Form and Pour Cement works. A larger matching
sidewalk runs down the other side of the driveway
and up to the front door. I have no other
pictures of this job, but I remember the street
view of this house had changed so dramatically
when the project was complete that it was just
visually stunning! The house went from an
older "cabin" kind of look to something
warm, welcoming, and modern.

Bluestone
|

| This
is a repair job of NY Bluestone entrance with
twin steps and landings for a residence on Cedar
Ridge Road in Wayzata. On this project we
removed all the old NY bluestone and then rebed
and pointed them in new mortar.

We did not do anything with the walls.
The nice thing
about our company is that one or both of us
is on every single job we do. Sometimes
you might see a job done at a neighbors house
and you contact the contractor because you would
like the same thing at your place. Larger
companies have lots of employees and several
crews. This can sometimes be a disadvantage.
With us, if you like what you see, you will
get the same people back to do the job for you.
I think this offers our customers a distinct
advantage.
