Concrete Driveways
|
|
We
upgraded an old blacktop driveway with a new
concrete driveway. We install 6.5 bag, fibermesh
modified concrete on every driveway and garage
floor.
|
 |
| We also
are one of the few contractors that don't wet
cut the control joints; we return the next day
and saw cut them instead. This process along with
the curing and sealing compound we use has a lot
of advantages over our competitors. |
Concrete
Sidewalks
We removed the
straight out existing sidewalk and installed
this sweeping walk in Edina. New landscaping

Commercial
Job? Tough Specs? No Problem!
Pictured below
is a 12 thickness concrete and rebar machine
foundation we did in mid-January, 2003 at the
Carlson companies building on Hwy 55 & CR
6 in Plymouth.

|
|
| We used
one of the most expensive mixes Aggregate Industries
(Our Redi-Mix supplier) makes, and had to work
within certain weather parameters and slab level
tolerances. |
|
|
|
We
would like to thank Sheldon Gifford, an outstanding
Aggregate Industries Engineer, for helping us
to make this pour work.

Almost
done!

|
A
very successful mid-winter challenge!

Concrete
Driveway
Below is a driveway
in Minnetonka that we installed around 1990.
It looks as good to this day. We use the exact
same procedure for driveways now as we did then.
The first driveway we ever did was in 1978,
also in Minnetonka. I looked at it a couple
of years ago and it still looks real good. Concrete
offers much more return on investment than asphalt.

A Concrete
Driveway Being Installed
Below are two of
our guys installing a concrete driveway in South
Minneapolis. We also put in some new stone steps
of the upper left of the driveway that look
pretty cool.

An Awesome
Concrete Patio and Water Feature
Pictured below
is a project where we put in a stunning exposed
aggregate patio with brick paver boarders in
mortar. The job featured a Rock Faced concrete
block fountain (not active), and some random
stone steppers leading off to a garden in the
back. This job was installed about 1992. Dayco
was a sub-contractor to Form & Pour Cement
Works. This job is located in the Northeastern
suburbs. This was one of those jobs that
you just want to stand there and stare at all
day once you've finished it!
