Something we believe is worth mentioning is PRICE.  We will study your job and provide a free detailed estimate that reflects our best price for the work. We do not offer "gimmicks" like pricing a job high, then after a week or so sending a coupon for 10% off. We are very competitive on price, but we cannot and will not compete against the unlicensed, untrained and unscrupulous.

We hold certifications including: Master Cement Finisher & Master of Masonry, (Minneapolis registry, #M127), Scaffolder Competent Person, (SIA Cert. #1652), Two Certifications from the Ahrens School of Masonry Restoration and Chimney repair . We maintain a license with the City of Minneapolis for Concrete and Masonry (#537), and with the State of Minnesota we maintain builder's license #20266544. We are a member of the Better Business Bureau.

In addition to our state-required on-going professional education, we strive to stay on the cutting edge of our trade through product manufacturer and supplier sponsored seminars and expos, trade magazines and the Internet.

Our approach to a project goes beyond understanding and applying codes and regulations; we desire to turn out work that is complete, detailed, and above all, pleasing to the eye.

Ralph and I believe we bring a unique value to the market. The fact that we put so much time and consideration into each estimate is indicative of our whole philosophy of business.

A QUICK BACK GROUND ON RALPH AND DAVE

Dayco General was founded in 1991. We are corporation organized under the laws of the State of Minnesota.  Dave and Ralph Dvorak Co-own the business.  Our experiences working together go well beyond 1991.

We are cousins and have worked together our entire lives beginning at age 13 in Ralph's father's construction company. I can't even believe it, but 2006 will be 33 years that we have worked together. (16 years with our own company).

Dayco is not a large company by design. Our goal is to operate a small, well-managed company, that is good to its employees, and turns out consistent work that meets high standards that please our clients, resulting in continued business through referrals.

One of the keys to our success has been our emphasis on education. We work at being technical, that is, understanding the engineering that goes into building a chimney complete from the ground-up for example.

If we are giving you a quote to do a project we know that we are also skilled, licensed, and fully insured to do it. If your job is not a good fit for our company we will let you know that up front.
